Political drama

Leader of the Jumhoory Party (JP), a member of the government coalition, Qasim Ibrahim has said that attempts are being made within MDP to take a no confidence vote against the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih,  and topple the government. (Sun.mv)

The key Motive –  It is well known that JP’s leader and coalition partner, Qasim Ibrahim has been in every government, since the time of former president Gayoom, however, he has never been loyal to anyone. With an eye on elections and its possible outcome , he is trying to create a wedge between Ibu and Nasheed. The statement regarding a threat to Ibu’s government from party insiders, hold no water and he has just shot in the dark. In this context , we all remember the “2012 Coup”

That was well planned by well known political figure . Don’t give credence to such statements. Stay focused!
